Quanta is simple yet addictive and fun bubble blaster. While playing the game you deal with quantum bubbles or simply quanta. You need to blast as many quanta as you can to accomplish impossible mission: achieve 100% completion in this game! ;)
Below go some explanations and advices (tldr;)
In the game apart from trying to match quanta colors also try to watch the score counters that are located on the top panel. The left counter indicates mismatches and should be kept at zero while the right one reflects how good you are at matching colors (let it loose!). In other words when at the time of collision colors of moving quantum and target quantum are the same the "hit-counter" is incremented. On the contrary, when colors do not match the "mis-counter" is growing.
The target quanta will turn white (cold) when following conditions are met: (a) color mismatch and (b) the number of dots inside colored quantum equals one. In addition, the cold quanta are turned amber-eyed quanta on the consequent bump. When destroyed, the cold quantum decreases the "mis-counter" value. The cold quanta are diffused automagically by blast jet coming out of any matched quantum. One cold per one colored.
The higher number of dots inside colored quanta the harder game gets (though not always). The thing is that this type of quanta are resistant to bumps (do not turn cold quickly) so your chances to make more mismatches are increasing thus
worsening level progress. In general there are several strategies how to balance in the game and keep "mis-counter" low. Hopefully you will find your own.
Piece of cake!
Not quite. Do not get fooled by seeming simplicity of the game. You may soon realize that matching colors in very dynamic environment is rather challenging for us humans and this is what makes playing Quanta rather interesting. You will experience some unique moments during the gameplay; one example of such moment is when your fingers and your head start acting asynchronously and this can feel so hilarious! :D
However, while making an effort to overcome these kind of situations you are potentially enjoying very good brain warm-up too! ;)
On the levels with small sized quanta it becomes even more fun. The blasts can be so intensive at times that you may loose visual contact with moving quanta. This can cause some havoc in your head. But worry not, there is some sort of panic button at the top of the control panel which looks like a black pearl: push it when it is lit amber and find the player-quanta at the base. During these short breaks try to recoup your focus and get ready for new quantum collisions!
Using amber quantum comes at price though: every time it diffuses it also gives birth to four more quanta if there is enough space around it. You have been warned! ;)
You can play the game in short sessions or try to complete all levels in non-stop manner at once. Sometimes you can get worse results on seemingly easy levels and much better on hard ones: that's all right, remember, you're dealing with mysterious quantum world!
Gameplay summary:
* Use colorful buttons at the bottom of the screen to select the color of moving quantum.
* Match quantum color. Bump. Diffuse. Repeat :)
* Quanta dots indicate level difficulty.
* Color mismatches are expensive.
* Learn to benefit from amber-eyed and cold quanta.
* Tap the middle of the screen to pause the game any time.
* Levels can be played in any order.
That's pretty much it. Prepare for some quantum anomalies and have fun!
* Add more visual effects to the gameplay.* The extra effects are automatically disabled on slow devices.
