Key Design Principles

Clarity
The stopwatch black and white display is large and clear even in bright sunlight, a very important consideration for running, jogging, sailing, cycling and team games. The lap timer has multiple screens views accessed via a horizontal swipe and large buttons. Whilst this stopwatch is ad supported, we only use a single banner at the bottom of the screen so not to hinder the display. We don't use video ads or full-screen ads. Nearly all other stopwatches for Android operate on press... these timers are not as accurate since a press can take up to 1/3 second and yet a touch is instantaneous. It has configurable precision and time correctly recorded in milliseconds as point measurements.

Reliability
