The Government of West Bengal has announced this scheme to help migrants stuck outside of the state due to the recent outbreak of the Novel Coronavirus pandemic. Those migrants who have been suspended and cannot return home due to lack of proper transportation are eligible to apply for the Sneher Paras app.
The Government of West Bengal will provide an aid amounting to INR 1,000 per applicant upon the correct completion of the application. The application period is from 20th April, 2020 to 3rd May, 2020.
