How to use ID by Pi application:
- User clicks the “REGISTER” button and completes the registration form using their phone number.
- Then the user will proceed to login with their phone number and password.
- For ID by Pi to work, the location must be turned on.
- For ID by Pi to work OPTIMALLY, turn on “Wi-Fi Scanning” and “Bluetooth Scanning”.
- At the home page click the “CAMERA” button which will open ID by Pi Camera
There is a “Home” button at the bottom left; “Flip” button at the bottom right and to take picture user should click the middle button.
- If the Location is NOT turned on, a dialog will open up letting the user know that they should turn it on.
- After taking a photo of a personal ID, there will be a BLUE check mark to confirm saving and signing the photo.
- Pop-up dialog will open letting the user know if the photo was successfully signed and saved.
- Afterwards, photo of a personal ID is sent to the server.
- If upload and optical character recognition were successful, the following message will be displayed: "ID uploaded successfully. Please take a selfie."
- Otherwise, user is asked to repeat the process: "ID upload failed. Please try again."
- After taking a selfie, there will be a BLUE check mark to confirm saving and signing the photo.
- Pop-up dialog will open letting the user know if the photo was successfully signed and saved.
- Afterwards, personal photo is sent to the server.
- If selfie upload and face detection were successful, the following message will be displayed: "Selfie uploaded successfully."
- Otherwise, user is asked to repeat the process: "Selfie upload failed. Please try again."
- User’s location information will be saved automatically in both photos.
- Any later modification of the photo will change its cryptographic signature and invalidate verification.
