We are pleased to offer this application, which is intended primarily to any specialty doctors, medical students and general public interest. The purpose of "Syndromes" is to help answer questions that may arise in daily clinical practice as well as increasing the knowledge about rare or less common diseases.
This first version contains 117 syndromes, which are structured as follows: Each pathology has the "History" of its first description (data Author and year of publication of the first case), the "Concept" of the disease , the "Incidence", "Prevalence", the "Etiology and / or Pathogenesis," the "Diagnosis", "Clinical Features," "Treatment" and "References" that validate the accuracy of the content. The syndromes are organized in alphabetical order, with a "Finder" tool at the top of the screen. It features a gallery with images of real patients, showcasing in detail the dysmorphic features of each disease and easing the process of finding certain symptoms by associated images. The content is accessible in "Spanish" and "English", with the ability to change the language when you want it, without having to exit the app or restart the device. Undoubtedly, we are witnessing an unprecedented tool in the medical field, as it has new, interesting and updated information on rare diseases in the world. My recommendation and that of my colleagues is just one: "Do not miss it"
